June Agricultural Census still available to be completed

The June Agricultural Census is still available to complete on paper.
We have posted paper forms to around 10,000 farms and encourage everyone to complete and return the census with the pre-paid envelope provided.
Farmers have until 31 August to complete the census. This year the survey – which collects information about land use, livestock numbers and labour – is voluntary to help ease pressures on farmers during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Rural Secretary Fergus Ewing said:
“It is now more important than ever that we have an accurate picture of developments in the agricultural sector so that we can assess the impact of coronavirus and develop the right policies to support our farming communities.
“I urge every farmer in Scotland to take the time to complete the survey.”
