Rural Payments and Services

Applicants are now able to submit their Single Application Form. It is recommended that customers submit applications as early as possible.

The window will close at midnight on Monday 15 May.

Customers who are new to submitting online will have to set up a personal Rural Payments and Services account and link your business to your account before you start your application.

Background

You must submit a SAF if you wish to claim for the following schemes:

• Basic Payment Scheme (including Greening and Young Farmer payments)
• Scottish Suckler Beef Support Scheme (Mainland and Islands)
• Scottish Upland Sheep Support Scheme
• Less Favoured Area Support Scheme
• Agri-Environment Climate Scheme – annual recurrent options
• Forestry Grant Scheme – annual maintenance and management grants
• Rural Development Contracts – Rural Priorities annual recurrent options

Create an online personal account, claim offline identity to convert your business from paper to online, register a new business or link an existing business to your account

The 2023 SAF application window runs from 15th March to midnight on 15th May.
